Create a Wheel of Choice with your Students.

  1. Brainstorm with your students a list of possible solutions for class or recess problems.
  2. Then brainstorm and list as many solutions as they can think of to try.
  3. On a pie-shaped chart write one solution in each section. Have students draw an illustration or symbol for each solution.
  4. Hang the Wheel of Choice in a prominent location in the classroom.
  5. When there is a conflict, ask students if they would like to use the Wheel of Choice to find a respectful solution to try.
